To every citizen of Dalaran, thank you, with all our hearts.
We wanted to spend our lifetimes with you, but life got in the way, sooner than any of us wanted. Even so, each of you will stay with us forever, one way or another. Our souls belong to Azeroth, but our hearts will always come home to the time we shared in Dalaran.
We'll find pieces of you everywhere: in the smallest critter wandering a level 1 zone, and in the very last spell we ever cast against the Lich King on 25 HC. And we'll smile, every single time, for these wonderful years, almost fourteen of them, spent keeping alive the world we'd always been searching for.
The realm falls silent now. But it was never the servers that made this place magic. It was you. Every single one of you.
Thank you for the adventure. Travel well, citizens. The portal closes, but the light stays on, in memory.
